Modal Health Platform
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlQP7Ol95aUModal health is an approach to technology that is aimed at improving patient-doctor communication. It consists of an app, a dashboard, and a backend. The app allows patients to take photos of meals and record monitored metrics (such as weight or blood sugar). It also allow and reminds patients to take wellness surveys to track their health over time. The dashboard allows a doctor to view this information and track progress over time.

Agromo.AI Multispectral Camera
https://vspectral.com/Understanding when and how much to spray pesticides is more of an art than a science, Agromo was founded to change that. By hybridizing spectral, weather, and scouting data, Agromo built an intuitive disease tracking platform to help farmers comply with best practices. I designed built a 3-D printed mount and a programmable controller for the multispectral camera. The mount had multiple adapters that allowed it to attach to various drones or pipes. At Agromo I was one of three co-founders. Agromo was accepted into the incubator program at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence where we worked for 9 months.

RFID Soil Moisture
https://ir.library.oregonstate.edu/concern/honors_college_theses/4m90f2174?locale=enEvaluated low-cost, moisture sensing UHF RFID tags to build comprehensive moisture maps of agricultural fields. Wrote my undergraduate thesis on this work (see link). The project utilizes a arduino-controlled UHF reader and capacitive moisture sensing RFID tags. The end goal is to create a high-resolution moisture map of a field which will be used to alter irrigation practices and reduce water usage by an estimated 20%. Savings of this magnitude, if realized, would save approx. 23 billion gallons of freshwater per day across the United States. Applied and recieved funding from the DeLoach Work Scholarship and the URSA Engage program. Worked within the OPEnS Lab @ OSU.
